Janelle’s philosophy…"Giving back to this sport, allowing girls to come together as a team, learning the proper way to move and play the ball, and fostering a life love for the game, these are all the pieces of who I am as a coach and a teacher”.

JV COACH

Doug Salzman is a coach that has passion for volleyball.  He likes being around the sport and played recreational volleyball in college.  As a coach he has enjoyed coaching developmental, rec and middle school teams.  He has been active Dad in his two daughters travel volleyball clubs.  Doug is Impact, Beach Impact, and Safesport Certified through USAV.  Doug has lived in Virginia for 47 years and works in finance.  He has a beautiful wife of 20 years and two children in the Fauquier County School system that love volleyball.

Doug's philosophy No matter how far or how long you go in volleyball I believe you can excel from where you are today.  I believe a player can walk out of the gym better then when they came in.  Volleyball can be a life long sport for the girls of our community.  What we do today to teach them and train them will impact them for the rest of their days.  Let us coaches know where you are today in your skills, and see where you want to be tomorrow.  Let a coach help you make it happen.  Coaches can light the spark in a player and can be that coach that inspires the player to be all they can be.
